Weave, weave , weave!

Here are a few more pictures to show my progress on the weave block. What surprises me most is how patterns can look totally different depending on which loom you use. It's all very trial and error at the moment. I am pleased with my colour palette and am now experimenting with weaving all kinds of different materials, e.g. melting yarns (polypropylene), feather, wire. I hope to incorporate more synthetic materials so that my samples, like my fishing flies are more 'plasticky' looking and less woolly and natural.
